yes hi she has seen doctors and has had multiple tests done but they still cant find the problem. she has seven or eight bowel movements a day. she is in constant pain. one x-ray showed backed up stool in stomach. all other tests were negative. she just feels like at this time to have surgery of some sort so she can live her life again.any recommendations?
Brief Answer:
Please show her to a gastroenterologist
Detailed Answer:
Seven to eight bowel movements occur in conditions like malabsorption syndrome, lactose intolerance, bacterial overgrowth or mucus colitis usually. Have these been investigated? Does she have any condition which decreases her immunity and make her immunocompromised?
It doesn't sound like a problem that can be settled with surgery. Otherwise the surgeon would have suggested a laproscopy.
Please show her to a gastroenterologist and he /she would investigate and help her.
Best wishes
