Brief Answer:
Burning may be a neurological, diarrhea may be due to intestinal infection

Detailed Answer:
Hi Madam.
Thanks for your query and albeit a very short history.

To recapitulate:
Female / 70 - burning mid-section of right side of the body off and on with frequent diarrhea - Tried Chiropractor ...

I would be happy to know the details please:
Since when have you got these problems ?
Have they started simultaneously or at different times ?
Any problem with the spine in the neck or back region ?
You had Shingles (Herpes Zoster) any time ?
Diarrhea : please provide details of duration, frequency per day, any relation to food, character, color, any mucus and any information related to it.

The probable reason for burning pain on the side of the body is usually neurological. Hence the questions. It is possible that the burning may be due to disc problems in the spine, or as a result of some medical problems like diabetes or so.
I would advise you the following:
Get an opinion of a Doctor for detailed history taking, detailed physical examination of the body and the abdomen, get a reference for a Neurologist if He thinks so and relevant investigations as per the clinical findings.
He may advise you a course of an antibiotic, metronidazole, probiotic, activated charcoal and symptomatic treatment. If diarrhea is controlled with these measured, nothing else may be needed.
If there is no response to this type of treatment, you may need further investigations of the blood, urine, stool , ultrasonography of the abdomen and may be a reference to the Gastroenterologist.

I hope this answer helps you to get a proper diagnosis, investigations and treatment and reference to the Specialist if required.

Please feel free to ask for more relevant questions, give feedback and more information, if you need to or if you feel that there is a gap-of-communication.

With Regards,
Get well soon.
