What Causes Frequent Chest Pain And High BP When Diagnosed With Angina?
I would explain as follows:
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome on HCM!
I understand your concern and would like to explain that it is necessary to perform a medical check up, including:
- a careful physical examination,
- a resting ECG, some lab tests (including cardiac enzymes like CK-MB and Troponin),
- chest X ray study
- a cardiac ultrasound
in order to rule in/out an ongoing important cardiac ischemia and relieving your symptomatology.
Because no information was drawn by stress test and you actually have coronary risk factors (hypertension, probable dyslipidemia, etc) it is necessary to proceed with additional cardiac imagine tests like
- coronary angio CT, or
- nuclear perfusional cardiac stress test, or
- cardiac stress (dobutamine) echo
If sufficient evidence of cardiac ischemia is provided, then coronary angiography would be the test of choice for definitely confirming coronary artery disease and properly adressing coronary lesions (by possible angioplasty).
So, I recommend asking medical assistance where available (the nearest medical center - hospital).
Hope to have been helpful!
In case of any further uncertainties, feel free to ask me again.
Kind regards,
Dr. Iliri
