My son 9.5 years old cries frequently over about almost any issue. He also has speech delay.
Can you please advise appropriate approach to handle this situation.

1. Birth weight, term, preterm, whether he cried at birth, any hospitalisations before.
2. General development, sitting, standing, walking, talking at what age?
3. Which class does he go to now, how are his studies?
Speech delay and irritability could be due to a number of causes and syndromes like asperger, ADHD, or birth insults
I suggest you should get him fully evaluated by a child neurologist.
If everything is normal, speech therapy will help him immensely.
