Brief Answer:
Not serious
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for posting your query.
I am Dr.R.K and I am pleased to assist you.
I went through your CT scan report.
There is nothing serious or critical.
Focal calcifications in the right lobe segment V of liver could be due to past infection.
Pelvicalyceal system and ureters are part of the urinary tract. Prominent PCS and ureter could be a normal thing or that a stone has passed recently.
So there is no need to worry.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr.R.K.

Hi Doctor
Thanks for your response. Glad to know it is not serious or critical. However I have 2 clarifications:
1) the below mentioned symptoms I am facing for the past 2-3 years are causing lot of problems and fatigue. Can you please confirm if these symptoms are due to the deviations mentioned in the CT scan Report?
• frequent urination even 4-5 times during the night causes sleep disturbance during the night and affecting all my day’s work.
• Frequent Motion ( around 3 times between 7AM to 1PM and 1-2 times after 2pm)
2) one more clarification
• 24 Hour Urine Protein (Pyrogallol Red) report shows 250.8 mgs/day whereas expected Biological reference interval is mentioned as 0 to 150 mgs/day.
What may be the reason of this deviation? And what are the steps I need to take to address and prevent this?
Appreciate your support. Thanks.
Regards
Brief Answer:
Probable IBS
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
The frequent bowel movements could be due to irritable bowel syndrome. Few tests needs to be done. This includes complete blood count, stool test, blood glucose, thyroid function test, test for celiac disease, small bowel biopsy and a colonoscopy.
You can consult your gastroenterologist for these tests.
For the urination and urine protein related questions, please post them separately and our Nephrologist will answer those questions.
