What Causes Frequent Nasal Bleeding In A Child?

He needs evaluatoin as it is twice in a weeks time
Detailed Answer:
Hi...I understand your concern. If it had been only once then I would have reassured you. But as it has happened twice and that too within a weeks time, I suggest you get him evaluated.
If I were his pediatrician I would do this -
1. Get his BP checked.
2. CBC/ PT and aPTT blood tests.
Approach your pediatrician regarding this.
If there are any further bleeds - then make him lie down flat and apply pressure on the side of the nostril where there is bleeding.
Meanwhile revert back to me with answers to below questions -
1. Is it always a single nostril or both?
2. Is there any prolonged bleeding tendency for trivial injuries in the past?
3. Does he have the habit of nose picking?

Happy to hear that he is playful, but he needs evaluation
Detailed Answer:
Hi.... I am happy to hear that he is playful and he is active otherwise. But as you are in doubt whether it is from one nostril or both and it has been twice within 1 weeks time and that too without the habit of nose picking, I suggest that he gets a check up from his pediatrician and evaluation.
I also suggest that you get his blood pressure checked and also do the blood tests which I have suggested in my previous interaction.
