What Causes Frequent Urinary Bladder Infection And Kidney Infection?

I am getting frequent urinary bladder infection ( e. colly was found in urine culture) one of the uti caused kidney infection but it's ok now. But urinary bladder infection is still present. I was treated with septra and microbid, didn't work at all. I feel terrible burning in vaginal canal but I don't have much pain when urinating and I am not urinating too frequently. I am very worried about the endometrial fluid, can that be cancerous? and I am getting deppresed because of uti that doesn't go away. the urologist is going to do urethral dilation and cystoscopy next month. Please help me with your opinion, I am terrified of cancer.
Detailed answer...
Hello,
Thanks for the query.
I have read your query and understand your concern.
You have essentially two query which I would answer one by one.
1st...Fluid in endometrial cavity can be normal finding at your age and ths could be because of stenosis of cervix.Other reason could be endometrial cancer.A proper examination and endometrial biopsy shall clear the picture.Must consult a gynecologist .
2nd....recurrent UTI in post menopausal females are very common because of rise in Ph of vagina due to fall in estrogen hormones. This makes you more susceptible for recurrent UTI. Other reasons could be due interstitial cystitis or some problem like cystocele etc. Rule out diabetes as uncontrolled diabetes also leads to persistent UTI.
You need a urine culture and then prolonged treatment with antibiotics along with thorough visualisation of your urethra and inside of bladder with cystoscope, which your urologist is going to perform soon.
In nutshell..
Carry on with the advise of your urologist
Consult a gynecologist for assessment of endometrial fluid.
I hope it helps, however you are most welcome to revert to me for any further query.
Best of luck
Thanks
