Frequent urination with urgency and blood in urine ( Hematuria) in a man at the age of 73 years are mostly due Enlarged Prostate.

Consult qualified Urologist for clinical and digital rectal examination and get following basic tests done to confirm the diagnosis.
1) Urine routine and culture.
2) Ultrasound scanning of abdomen and pelvis
3) Serum PSA.

You can start taking following medications
1) Antibiotic like Cefixime and Nitrofurantoin twice daily
2) Tomsulosin once daily
3) Darifenasin once daily

Further treatment will depend upon result of these tests and final diagnosis.
