Question: Hi, Im XXXXXXX 21 years old.I am experiencing an urine problem for last 3 months. Frequent urination, Urgency to urinate and burning feeling inside urine tube. I have consulted doctor and he asked me to take citralka and norflox 400 mg for three days. I felt relief when i used it but after stopping those medicines, the problem arose again. If i eat properly three times a day I'll be fine or else I'll feel the burning sensation again.

Brief Answer:
You have UTI.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for your query ,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have UTI.

Please get your routine urine test and urine culture done to find out the organisms causing this infection and antibiotics to which they are sensitive to.

Please take broad spectrum antibiotics like Cefotaxime along with urinary antiseptic like Nitrofurantoin twice daily and urine alkalizer thrice daily .Later on switch on to appropriate antibiotics as per culture report.

Get the prescription of medicines from your family Physician.

Ensure to drink more water .To keep your urine dilute This will help to control dysuria.

Brief Answer:
Repeat Urine culture .

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for follow up .

The urine culture done 4 months back has no relevance in present context ,

Infective bacteria always change their nature and sensitivity pattern .Hence in a situation whenever there is no response to antibiotics it is always advisable to repeat Urine culture after a month so that one can take appropriate antibiotic as per culture report to combat infection .

Thanks and Regards.
