We need few more details

Hi XXXX,
Welcome to HCM.
If you mean frequent urination, (As wash room is used for defecation also!)there could be many causes like diet change, drugs, alcohol, urinary tract infection etc. Chronic diseases like diabetes mellitus and insipedus stand in the list too. Frequent urination causes dehydration leading to dry mouth.
We need few more details : Did it start all of a sudden, is there any burning in the urine or urgency, any fatigue, any recent change of diet, alcohol intake , medicines that you have recently taken.
It could simply be be due to sudden alterations in the temperatures like exposure to heavy cold etc.
Waiting to reply back.

Yes it started all of a sudden. No burning when i urinate. I am 44 and have sleep apena. I use an oral appliance for sleeping. This was just last night that i went to the bathroom all thru the night about 4 to 5 times. Each time my mouth was extremely dry. The dry mouth was unsual as with the oral appliance i tend to drool a lot. No new medications. I just ran out of my lipitor so i had not eevn taken that.
Brief Answer:
Try to increase your ventilation and see if it corrects.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I SHOULD SAY THE GENERAL CAUSES OF POLYURIA LIKE DIABETES, UTI SHOULD BE RULED OUT BEFORE ANYTHING.
If everything else is ruled out and you still have symptoms, here is a possible explanation: Sometimes, the settings of the oral appliance (I believe it is a CPAP machine) are not sufficient enough to give adequate oxygenation at nights, provoking increased urination (polyuria). Inadequate settings of CPAP can cause hypoxic stimulation of ANP (Atrial Natriuritic Peptide) by your heart driving out water and salt. Though this is the one among many possible explanations for your polyuria.
Mild cardiac dysfunction can also lead to frequent urination when lying down due to increased preload.
Try to increase your ventilation and see if it corrects.
All the best.
