Brief Answer:
Frequent urination could be due to age related reduced bladder capacity .

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for query .

In absence of positive evidence of enlarged prostate and negative reports of urine test for infection the cause of frequency for urination at the age of 82 years is age related reduced capacity of urinary bladder .

This is not pathognomic but part of ageing process .

Reduce intake of coffee and avoid drinking water 2 hours before going to bed .

You may take tab Flavoxate twice daily .

Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions , I shall be happy to help you .
Thanks and Regards.
