What Causes Gagging Sensation While Brushing Teeth?

Thank you. XXXXXXX
Do you still have such sensations?
Detailed Answer:
HI and thanks for this query.
I am so sorry to hear about what you experienced. At times, it gets difficult to pinpoint everything that happens unless it happens repeatedly. Your symptoms and what you experienced isn’t typical of any disease condition and I cannot immediately say what this represent: Am not sure any other physician is able to do so, either.
However, if this happens again, I will request for detailed examination followed by basic laboratory investigations. This, only if it happens again. For now, I will not recommend any special evaluations or examinations unless you report that this again happened. Kindly inform me if it does.
I hope this reassures you. For now, monitoring is all i recommend. It is good and the best and most logical thing to do at this point in time. Feel free to followup an request for more information and clarifications if need be.

This is probably close trigger pain!
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for this precision.
I am of the thinking that you gag such that a nerve is triggered which gets all the muscles to contact. I will suggest that you do so more gently and identify movements that do not necessarily provoke this. Take it gently, a step at a time.
Thanks
