What Causes Gastric Pain Every Time After Eating Certain Food Stuff?

Question: I just wondered if you had any input for me. I've been through a lot, and have yet to get a diagnosis.
When I eat, immediately after, I get a throbbing pain in my left upper quadrant. Sometimes I feel like I'm being stabbed and cry out! Sometimes it radiates to my back, but I do have a lot of back problems so this may be unrelated. I cut out gluten and noticed a big difference...but then I realized that every time I ate a banana this pain would reoccur severely. This has been going on for almost 4 years. Some days, the pain isn't there, and others its severe. I have had constipation problems almost my entire life (ill be 36), and I've had a cyst on my abdomen for 31 years. I have psoriasis on my hands, feel dizzy sometimes and I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. But through pain, I am very fit, almost freakishly strong, and am always on the go.
Any idea of what this could be?

Brief Answer:
an ulcerative condition, needs to be investigated

Detailed Answer:
dear,
Welcome to HCM
From your compliants it appears that you are suffering from gastric upset associated with pain everytime you eat certain food stuff. And it is there pretty much consistently over the last four years, although intermittent in nature.
Considering the associated co morbid conditions it is likely for a gluten sensitivity to be present, other condition that needs to be rules out are gastritis with or without ulceration and Ulcerative intestinal conditions.
I need information regarding
1) if any weight loss that has occurred recently?
2) medications you are talking currently?
3) dark coloured stools?

I suggest an investigation of endoscopy which may help to yield some finding.
Tab pantoprazole can be taken once a day to prevent from acidity. Though there are otc variants such as prilosec; it would be better you take pantoprazole. Your local doctor can prescribe it.

Kindly revert with above answer soon.

Brief Answer:
Need to investigate

Detailed Answer:
thanks for the reply.
the information goes against any intestinal pathology.
Your compliants fail to satisfy to a specific diagnosis. therefore, one will need to consider a wide spectrum of conditions.
We will require battery of investigations to rule out causes one by one until we come across specific finding.
Baseline investigations like ECG, chest and abdomen XRay. USG, complete blood haemogram, stool analysis will be required.
More specific fix investigation like endoscopy, screeing for auto immune factors may be indicated in future.
I suggest you consult a local gastrologist who can prescribe you these investigations.
Mean while the pain can be dealt with Over the counter medications like diclofenac, paracetamol etc.
Continue with pantoprazole tab.

Welcomr me for further suggestions and queries.
Regards
