What Causes Green Loose Stool And Stomach Pain While Teething?
Question: my son is 1 year old, he is passing green loose stools and has stomach ache, HIs teeth are coming. which medicine should i give him? is it colic, will colic aid work ? Or Oflomac

I understand your concerns but don't worry. The most likely reason for these symptoms is self limiting viral gastroenteritis. You may give him the following treatment for relief:
1. Give oral rehydration therapy such as lemonade, soups, buttermilk, ORS to maintain hydration. Ensure regular feeds.
2. Start a zinc supplement such as Syp ZnD or Zinconia for early recovery. It's given as 5 ml once daily for 14 days. Also, gives immunity from future episodes.
3. Give Syp. Meftal Spas for stomachache but avoid more than thrice daily administration.
4. Start a probiotic such as enterogermina twice daily for restoring healthy gut flora.
Hopefully this episode will improve within a few days.
