Brief Answer:
It is acceptable. Do not get concerned.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on Healthcaremagic.

Let me assure you that for a child of this age it is absolutely normal to pass stool several times a day or even after each feed. The rapid transit of fecal matter through large intestine does not leave enough time for the green colour of bile to get converted to the yellow pigment that colours our stool. It is not a cause of concern. In any case, giving zinc and vvact should be good although that will not ensure that the condition will go away (since the condition is within acceptable range). All you have to do is to give ORS (oral rehydration solution) to make up for the lost salts and fluid.

You need not get concerned.

Brief Answer:
No justification in giving antibiotics.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back. I have gone through the attached report. Let me assure you that everyone's stool contains bacteria (if it did not, you could directly put it in your mouth without worrying, but that surely is not the case). The stool report is normal in this case. The presence of elevated pus cells count indicates infection but as you can see that is not the case here. So, there is no rationale in giving antibiotics. If you want to act without rationale, it would surely not matter if you yourself take a course of antibiotics without a valid reason. I have already explained the logic behind, it is upon you to accept.

Carmozyme is not an effective medicine. The enzymes are protein in nature. Proteins get denatured by stomach acids. So, giving enzyme supplements is useless. The choice once again is yours.

It is important to give Vitamin D supplements and I would insist you to continue that.

I have already given you relevant information. You yourself can look up the internet to find the validity of the information provided by me vs the treatment provided by your doctor.

Regards
