What Causes Green Vaginal Discharge?
Question: I haven't had sex in 8 years. I am 58. Had sex with my fiancée for the first time the other night......he is well endowed so it was a bit of a struggle. Within 2 days, I started having a greenish discharge.......it doesn't smell fishy, it is not thick, but it is definitely green on the toilet paper when I wipe. I had used one of those feminine cleaning cloths prior to sex which was new to me. I had also taken a mega dose of antibiotics for bronchitis the week before. I am not itchy, but there is a heavy discharge. He is sexually clean as am I.
Brief Answer:
It sounds like an infection
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns.
It sounds like an infection , more like a bacterial infection.
Looking clean does not mean he does not have any bacteria.
Get a vaginal swab culture and start the correct antibiotics accordingly.
Are you a diabetic?

I have been diagnosed as pre-diabetic.....what is the relevance?
Brief Answer:
Pre diabetics have a higher chance of infection
Detailed Answer:
Dear,
Diabetics and pre diabetics have a higher chance of infection .
This is because your blood has sugar (though not extremely but definitely higher) and bacteria love sugar and like to grow in bodies which have high sugar.
Do not worry. I will advice you to get a diabetic review and get it under control.
Also get a swab culture as I told and we can start antibiotics.
