What Causes Growling Noises In The Stomach While Having Probiotic And Mucelix For Inflammatory Bowel Syndrome?
Question: I have constant noises like growling in my stomach. They occur most anytime not necessarily after eating. I am taking probiotic and mucelix for IBS. I am off milk and wheat for now and am feeling better, but left with this gnawing low grade pain and loud growling noises in my gut. What is causing this as my gastroenterologist doesn't seem to address this issue when I ask him?
Brief Answer:
Follow medications .
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
There is some problem with your overall digestion. When food is acted upon by harmful bacteria in the gut it causes the production of gas causing belching bloating and various sounds.
I would start
- Activated charcoal twice daily.
- Omeprazole over the counter
Report me how you feel in 3 days.
Thanks!

I am guessing the activated charcoal is also purchased over the counter as is the omeprazole? Will get back to you in three days and thank you so much.
