What Causes Hard And Sore Nipples?

Question: hard, sore nipples, for the past 2 days. breasts aren't tender. just the nipple is sore and erect. missed my birth control for 4 days. 6 days until my next period. last time I was sexually active was 4 days ago

This happens due to hormonal changes in a cycle.

These changes are seen commonly during the premenstrual part of the cycle and suggest impending Menses.

If pain is not much you can ignore it. Otherwise you can take progesterone medicines if pain is unbearable. You will need a prescription for the progesterone though, so you can talk to your Gynecologist about that.
