What Causes Hard Lump At Cubital Area?
Proper clinical evaluation and investigations as explained in details.
Detailed Answer:
Hi, Welcome to HCM,
Thanks for your query.
To recapitulate: Male/42 - not visited a Doctor - just observing at this point - firm lump at cubital area where lymph nodes are located - no pain or tenderness - no change in size over last few weeks...
The most probable cause can be:
A lymph node
Sebaceous cyst or a Lipoma (unlikely for a few weeks duration)
I would advise you the following:
- Please give additional details about duration, any injury to the forearm to fingers before appearance of this lump, size, mobility and so on.
- Get an ultrasonography and FNAC to get a confirmed diagnosis.
- Clinical evaluation by a General Surgeon for lymph nodes at other sites, live, sleep and so on and then the relevant blood tests.
- Please give any additional history.
I hope this answer helps you to get an early and proper diagnosis and a plan for proper treatment.
Please feel free to ask for further relevant queries if you feel that there is a gap of communication.
Regards
Most probably a lipoma
Detailed Answer:
Hi, Welcome back..
Thanks for your detailed feedback.
The description almost rules out a sebaceous cyst.
In view of presence of lipoma on lower back and the description you have provided, this is most probably a lipoma.
Yet, FNAC/Ultrasound would be confirmatory.
Best Wishes
