What Causes Hard Lymph Node Under Right Jaw?

It might be due to an oral infection.
Detailed Answer:
Hello!
I read carefully your query and understand your concern.
A hard, fixed lymph node is always reason for concern.
The fact that it hasn't changed in size it is a good sign.It makes the cancer less likely.
It might be an enlarged lymph node due to infection like fungal infection of the mouth.
It is very important to get examined by a physician because he can tell if the lymph node is hard and fixed or smooth and movable.
In your case physical examination is very important for the diagnosis.
If the physician confirms the presence of the infection of the mouth ,then after the treatment the lymph node can disappear. If not , you may need a complete evaluation to figure out the nature or the lymph node.
Probably a lymph node biopsy might be necessary for the diagnosis.
It might be nothing serious but just in case I would suggest to consult a physician and get examined.
Hope it was of help.
Let me know if you have other questions or doubt to clarify.I will be happy to assist you further.
Kind Regards!

I had blood work 2 months ago and everything was perfect I have also had an enlarged tonsil on the left side for many years and have a stuffy nose and post nasal drip everyday
Most likely it is due to oral infection or allergy
Detailed Answer:
Hello again!
The fact that you suffer from allergies and have had an oral infection during this time (white dots on the tongue) makes it most likely to be an enlarged lymph node due to infection or allergies.
The fact that the lymph node is small, has round shape and smooth consistence and the most important hasn't changed it's dimensions during 5 months ,makes cancer a very very low possibility.
Because cancerous cells proliferate too quick ,a cancer increases his size progressively and if it was cancer in 5 months it would have increased significantly.
I would suggest to consult your physician so he can examine this lymph node, just in case because I am sure it is nothing serious.
Take care!
