What Causes Hard Swollen Red Lump Inside Right Bicep?

Question: My girlfriend developed a hard lump about 1 inch in diameter on the inside of her right bicep. Within about 2 hours she started to have swelling, redness and stinging of her lips. The swelling spread to her right cheek. The lump on her arm has no sign of a bite, no redness, but it itches and has become painful and tender. The lip swelling has gone down, but they still sting? Note sure if this is a bite reaction or an allergic reaction to something else?

I appreciate your concern for your girlfriend

Lump on right side of biceps could be a allergic or cellulitis or sebaceous cyst or a lipoma if it is long standing
If you can upload a Photograph I will be able to guide you better
Here, I would like to know since hoe long this lump has been there

swelling in lip can be caused by an inflammation of the lip following injury infection or allergic reaction
Here again I would request you for an photograph of the lips

At the same time we need to rule out any systematic cause of this like any metabolic disorder like diabetes or kidney disease
You can anti allergic drugs like levoctirizine to reduce inflammation
If it is rapidly progressing than it may require a steroid shot under supervision of your doctor

Lump just appeared on Tuesday. It appeared only hours after the swelling and stinging on her lips appeared. She is very healthy and has no other health issues.

She can apply calamine lotion and anti allergic medicines for itching
