What Causes Headache After Having Elleste Duet?
![default](/r/images/default.png)
Discontinue HRT and report to doctor immediately
Detailed Answer:
Hello ma'am and welcome.
Thank you for writing to us.
Elleste duet is a hormonal replacement preparation which carries various side effects. One out of the more severe and common ones are migraines and severe headaches. It is strongly advised to discontinue taking the medication as soon as this side effect is experienced and report to your doctor immediately.
The reason why medical attention is advised is because the condition for which you were prescribed the hormone replacement therapy (HRT) will be left unattended to once you discontinue the preparation, and also because you may need attention to help bring your headache to bay. Please report to your prescribing doctor at your earliest convenience ma'am.
I hope you find my response helpful. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications, I would be more than happy to help you.
Best wishes.
