What Causes Headache And Drowsiness After Missing A Single Dose Of Rotocap?

Question: I am taking rotocap daily 200mg once in a day.. when I take it i feel very good. I am active and completely comfortable. if i don't take one day i am inactive... head ache drousiness and all. i am afraid also whether this will give any side effects. I am continuously taking it past 5 yrs. ofcourse i reduced the dosage. It started with 400 mg twice a day.. after that 400 mg once a day.. now i reduced to 200 mg... I want to avoid to take this... only I am scared of its side effect..

Rotacap is used for breathing problem. There are different kinds of it and some among them are Steroid containing.

Long term use of these medications ( especially steroid containing are not recommended )

Foracort contains Steroid and long term use of steroid has got lot of complications.

I recommend you to reduce the use of Foracort ( should not be stopped abruptly ). Start taking Foracort 100 mg from today and observe for 2-3 weeks , if you are comfortable we can plan for further reduction after 3 weeks. Please do discuss this with your treating doctor.
