Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to Health care magic.
I am Dr. DADAPEER K, an ophthalmologist and I answer health problems related to eye.
I reviewed your history. It seems from the history that you are having refractive error, for which you are using spectacles and you are having symptoms of irritation, headache....
Since your work involves use of computers, first thing I would like to rule out is
Dryness of eyes induced by over use of computers called as computer vision syndrome.
The treatment for this condition is by use of artificial tears eye drops. The precautions to be taken are
Avoiding continuous use of computers by taking breaks in between. A break of atleast 5 minutes is required after working for continuous 2-3 hours.
Use of anti-glare coated glasses.
Avoiding use of fan or air conditioner where ever possible.
Coming to your question of whether it can be because of increased pressure called as glaucoma.
It is not likely in your case. Glaucoma usually starts after 40 years of age. Hence in your case I would like to rule out and treat first computer vision syndrome and if still the symptoms persist we need to look out for other diagnosis.
Hope the information is helpful to you.
Thank you
With regards
