What Causes Headache And Vomiting After Withdrawing Pantadoc DSR?
Question: Hi, I had asked you a query as below, I took that medication for about a month "Pantadoc DSR", and everything was fine, but, as soon as I stop taking that medication, i get those headaches back in 1-2 days.
What do you suggest for now?

I am getting these headaches that start on one side , followed by periods where I cant see properly and feel dizzy.
This is also accompanied with burps and vomiting. So, think migh be something related to acidity.
Can this be caused because of acidity?

What you have explained can definitely be caused by acidity. Two other possibilities are migraine headache and vertigo.
I would suggest you to undergo a thorough examination by your primary care doctor to rule out the same.
In the meantime, You can take antacids like capsule Pantodac DSR. I prescribe my patients this on empty stomach early in the morning for few weeks.

I am glad that Pantadoc DSR worked for you. However, this is not the curative treatment for your headache.
You would need a thorough evaluation of your headache. If need be a CT Scan or MRI of the brain has to be done as well.
Please go ahead as suggested and consult a neurologist for the same.
