I does not seem like leukemia
Detailed Answer:
Hellos sir,
I did review your lab results and your concern.
Your blood reports show mild anemia and leukocytosis and rest everything looks almost fine . Chances of leukemia with normal platelet count is very low.
Still if possible you can get a morphological review of your blood slide to see the morphology of rbcs and wbc cells and completely rule it out.
I did however went through your urine report which shows blood, RBC, WBC and esterase indicative of mild infection in urinary tract or catherization and can lead to leukocytosis.
Your lipid levels are also looking a little deranged in form of high triglycerides and low HDL which can be normalized by starting meds like statins.
So all in all, your blood picture does not seem to be like leukemia-
1) You can get a peripheral smear for review anytime.
2) Review your urine analysis with doctor to rule out urinary condition like infection or stone.
3)Monitoring and treating your deranged lipid levels.
I hope its helps.
Wish you all the best.
Let me know your concern and questions and I will help you out as much as you can.
Sincerely,
Dr Parth Desai
Hi I did review your complete lab results would advice a nephrology consult
Detailed Answer:
Hello sir,
Thank you for your reply.
I went through all your past lab reports and it seems that although your wbc count remains slightly above normal or near normal all the time there is mild anemia with blood found in urine during every investigation.
I would advice you to get analysed for that apart from high lipid levels.
Such Isolated Hematuria can be seen in bladder condition like stones, infections, unwanted growths or kidney conditions like IgA nephropathy, Alport syndrome, etc.
Hence I would advice you to get a nephrology consult for a detailed analysis.
The logical investigations needed would be a cystoscopic examination to see inside wall of your urinary bladder or a constrast urogram and a kidney biopsy to rule out any renal condition. The creatinine and urea nitrogen levels are normal so whatever it is it has not damaged your kidneys so far to a great extent so early diagnosis and treatment is possible.
Your mild constant low hemoglobin are a reflection of that and so can be your mildly elevated wbc cells. Chances of leukemia are very rare and you can get a peripheral smear morphology review done by a pathologist anywhere.
SO all in all, my recommendations sir would be-
1) A consult with nephrologist for further evaluation of bleeding from your urinary tract.
2)A morphological review of your peripheral review to rule out tinest doubt of any blood borne malignancy(chances are very low).
3)Lipid profile analysis and starting medications like statin and diet plan for controlling the same.
I hope this helps
Wish you all the best sir.
Let me know if you have any more questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
Dr. Parth Desai
