What Causes Headache, Dizziness, Pain And Tightness In Chest?

Question: I have a lady who works for me that says the following Over the last week I have been feeling sick during my work hours in the showroom. By the end of the day my throat has been hurting, I have had headaches, tightness in my chest, I have not been able to breathe easily, and have experienced some dizziness. After going home and resting I have woken up the next day feeling much better only to go back to the office and feel the same way.
It got so bad last week that I thought I might have strep throat or something worse and so I went to see my Acupuncturist last Thursday night who believed that two things were happening, 1) I had Tonsillitis, and 2) I was reacting to something in my work environment - which might have been related to a mold or something toxic.
I was treated with antibiotics (which I am still taking) and by Monday morning I felt fine. However, within two hours of being back at work yesterday, the symptoms came back. Today, my symptoms were so bad that I was feeling dizzy and almost faint each time I would stand up in addition to having serious trouble breathing during my time in the office. I remembered hearing something about possible lead in the paint on the HVAC system and when I mentioned that to XXXXXXX and XXXXXXX today, we decided to test it with a lead tester in the office. The test result was red, which showed a high level of lead toxicity in the paint. I am pretty sure that what I have been experiencing is lead poisoning. I would not be surprised if others are being affected by this in some way, considering that both XXXXXXX and XXXXXXX have been sick with ear infections, and XXXXXXX has also not been feeling well.
Since I have come home today, my symptoms have lessened and yet I am still not feeling 100% better. Because I am extremely sensitive, I will not be able to return to work at the showroom until the lead paint is safely removed from the premises. I have no problem working from home or running any necessary errands until it is safe for me to return. Please let me know E&K’s plans to take care of this situation.
It does not sound like lead poisoning, it sounds like stress or is there something else that these symptoms might be related to..

Brief Answer:
Likely to be allergic reaction

Hi
Welcome to Healthcaremagic
Greetings of the day
Dear Ms XXXXXXX
It is unlikely to be acute lead poisoning. Acute lead poisoning usually presents with muscular weakness. The respiratory and chest symptoms are likely to be due to allergy to mould and pollens .
Allergic testing with allergens will be helpful.
Also a trial of antihistamines like Cetrizine along with mast cell stabiliser like Montelukast will be helpful.
Do get back to me if you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.
Take care
