Question: Hello. My ent told me no infection and ears r clear. Hearing was right at normal with a small loss of high frequency in left ear. Put me on Lipo-flavonoid and said I had his guarantee tinnitus will go away. How can he possibly know?

High frequency hearing loss occurs when the hair cells in the cochlea are missing or damaged.

Physiologically, high-frequency sounds are perceived in the bottom of the cochlea and low-frequency sounds are in the top. Because of this, it’s common for hearing loss to happen in the high-frequencies before it happens in the low frequencies.

When this occurs, and the cochlea is still able to understand some low-frequency sounds but no high-frequency sounds. It happens commonly in noise induced hearing loss, ageing, or genetics.


2. Lipoflavonoid is a dietary supplement. It is composed of eriodictyol glycoside (a bioflavonoid found naturally in the peel of lemons) and the following vitamins: vitamin B6 and B12 (B complex), vitamin C, niacin, riboflavin, thiamine, choline, inositol, and pantothenic acid.


Lipoflavonoid are placebo medication, helps in improving micro circulation of cochlea, which acts directly on damaged hair cells causing tinnitus.
