What Causes Hearing Of Loud Squishing Noises From Chest Area?

Question: I am hearing a loud "squishing" noise by my heart. It is a rhythmic, consistent sound all day. There is no discomfort. At first I thought it was digestion but it continues long after meals...actually never quits. I am a wheelchair user due to M.S. thus my abdomen is constricted but even at night when I am prone, I still have it.

I can understand your concern.
Such kind of sound from chest area is commonly due to gaseous movements of stomach.. But better to rule out heart related diseases first.. So get done ecg and 2d echo to rule out heart diseases.
If both these are normal, then no need to worry for heart disease.. You are immobile. So gaseous distention of stomach is likely.
And this gives such sound.
So better to take proton pump inhibitors (pantoprazole) and pro kinetic (levosulperide) combination.
Take high fiber diet more.
Don't worry, you will be alright.
