fluids good, now salts.
Detailed Answer:
actually you did the right thing already. alcohol has generally not very much interaction with blood pressure and blood pressure medicines. Except that it is a diuretic (makes you lose body water through urinating). So, the fluid was the first thing I was going to suggest. The bp is currently normal range and unlikely to be the current problem.
on the other hand... .bp meds, alcohol, AND fluid flushing WILL ALL lower electrolytes.
Frankly all of them. so.... sodium, potassium and magnesium are all a bit affected. Frankly, what normally would be an unhealthy thing to eat, is likely to replete them.
BURGER AND FRIES....sodium
potatoes (higher in potassium than bananas)
and Coke is the very best way to replete potassium
Just stick to Low portions, as you do not need much.
Furthermore magnesium supplement if you can get it ... about 200 mg twice a day.
Gatorade in addition, a small amount (one small bottle) has a bit of sodium and potassium
Don't get into the habit of eat these things though, they raise fluids and blood pressure in the long run.
seriously, SHORT TIME.

ok.. the fluids have already helped. This implies that the usual situation (about a day) is really on track to improve !
and... there's of course other possibilities. So... if you gradually are feeling improved with the food and maybe not 100% but 90%, then there's very little you are going to get out of a special emergency visit with your doc and frankly I think you seriously are worse off/ higher risk of problems going to an emergency room with new doctors who don't know you unless you really really have to be there !
So... if nearly all better, keep regular appointments. If still with appointments and very little improvement in 24 hrs, then you need to see your Regular doc!
Really glad to be of help! (generally alcohol at 1 drink doesn't do this, but ok... it would to me too, so, obviously certain individuals are more susceptible. Good news, we never become alcoholics !).
It was wthin 10 mins of drinking i felt awful .. I went boiling hot , heart raced, light headed , short of breath and faint ! I knew it was the wine immediatly.
I am going to take meds now i have ate breakfast and hopefully they will set heart beats back to reg beats and stop it skipping so much! If it doesnt get any better in 24 hours i will go see reg gp
Thanks for help!
yeah ! the boiling hot...
