I read carefully your question and I understand your concern.

This can happen when the position of the body compresses the brachial nerve or the nerves in the neck. The fact that it got better in a while, confirms that and I think it is nothing to worry about.

If this happen again, then maybe you need a more softer bed, or a different pillow. But most probably it was just one night.
