What Causes Heaviness In Eyes, Brain Fog, Arm Pain And Numbness In Spine?

Question: Hi, I am asking for some advice in regards to my father. He is 59 years old. Some of his symptoms are as follows: Heavy eyes, severe brain fog (lack of focus, fatigue), sharp pain down right arm during certain movements (such as reaching back to put on seat belt), numbness along spine on lower back. These symptoms have been around for months now and he's been to a couple doctors who haven't done much to help. He was diagnosed with Lyme's disease last October but after treatment, his blood tests show no more traces of it as of a month ago, yet the above symptoms persist. We're just wondering about what next step to take or what this might be.

Brief Answer:
Schedule appointment with neurologist, start multivitamin

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I have gone through the medical history of your father and understood your concern.

Taking into account his personal history of Lyme's disease last year, the symptoms he is having might be related to neuropathy as possible complication of Lyme's disease although his actual tests are normal.

A good neurological examination by neurologist is advised to do next together with MRI of spinal cord.

I also advise to monitor his blood pressure and record the results for future reference.

After analysis of the results, can discuss for treatment.

For the moment, until you see neurologist I advise to take multivitamin supplements containing vit.B complex, calcium, zinc, magnesium.

Hope it was of help.
