What Causes Heaviness In Right Calf Muscle And Pain In Foot?

Question: 1. Thighs/heavy right calf muscle
2. Top of my right foot is painful as if strained
3. Get pins and needles on the right side of my right foot upon waking up

I recently started gym and as a result of an injury on my left ankle I have been overusing the right leg. Could this be the course?
Or are the symptoms telling of another serious illness?

Hello,
I have studied your case, And I think that your symptoms are neurological in nature. it can be due to following reasons.
1.Smoking or Alcohol.
2. Low serum B12 and Calcium
3.Wearing very tight foot wear or heavy gym workout.
Hot water fomentation and rich salt and Protein diet is needed for young person going to gym.
I would recommend you to not to put too much stress on your body. In Gym you should gradually increase your exercise level.
I would suggest you to get your serum B12 estimation and vitamin D level. This is done through blood investigation. If there is any deficiency of vitamin B 12 or vitamin D than it can make your nerves weak and can cause tingling and numbness.
In that case you need to take tablet Methylcobal and CCM daily . These two tablets will improve your symptoms.

Good Evening and thank you for your answer.
I take centrum complete A to Zinc multivitamins... The vitamin D is 200IU and B12 is 1mcg. I take one tablet daily. What is the recommended dosage of the vitamin D and B12 i should take.

Thanks for replying . It is good that you take care of your fitness and also take vitamins in diet.
I Would recommend you 250 IU vitamin D with 1000 mg calcium daily.
Vitamin B 12 is water soluble so it needs to be taken daily as it can not be stored in body so there is no toxicity. I would recommend you 1000 mcg daily.
