What Causes Heaviness In The Abdomen Upon Food Consumption Along With Burping?

Gastritis.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
There are erosions along duodenum. Whenever you take food acid is secreted by the stomach and as this bolus would move from stomach to duodenum it would irritate the already inflamed mucosa of duodenum. Just avoiding spicy and fried food will not help you initially. You have to take medications for a few weeks initially. Firstly I would suggest you not to worry too much.
Take a proton pump inhibitor like Esomeprazole along with a prokinetic drug (e.g. Domperidone). This will provide you with symptomatic relief from symptoms. Both will be easily available at any medical shop.
Antacid like mucaine gel.
Any over counter probiotic like proentra or enterogut should be taken for a few days to provide relief in symptoms of indigestion. They help to replete the good bacterias in the gut.
Apart from this, some dietary restrictions are to be followed-
- Avoid alcohol or smoking.
- No aerated beverages.
- Take light non-spicy easily digestible food for a few days.
- No Fast food like pizza or burger should be taken.
- Drink a cup of cold milk daily.
- Avoid fatty foods.
Follow up after 10 days.
All medicines are very safe.
You would feel much better.
Hope I have answered your query.
