What Causes Heaviness In The Lower Abdomen With Frequent Urination During Menstruation?
Question: past 2 months my menses have been very heavy and painful. Also throughout the two months i have a constant feeling of getting menses. There is discomfort in lower abdomen and sometimes pain. I checked myself there is no fungus or yeast inside the vagina, no white discharge or itching. Sometimes i do feel a warm sensation and at time frequent urination which i usually associate with high sugar.
Brief Answer:
get urine routine done
Detailed Answer:
Hi there,
Welcome to HCM,
The symptoms of heaviness in lower abdomen with increased frequency of urination, points towards urinary tract infection.
I would advise you to get a urine routine done to know if any pus cells or bacteria re present in it or not.
This is more common in women who are prone to diabetes or have a family history of diabetes, so I would advise you to get a fasting and post lunch sugar test done too if you have not done the same in the last 3 months.
Hope this helps.
Regards.

Brief Answer:
get urine tested
Detailed Answer:
Hi ,
If it is a urine infection, then an antibiotic specific to that infection works.
Prediabetic state makes you more prone to urine infection, get a urine examination and take treatment specific to the bacteria identified on urine culture and sensitivity.
Doxi may not cure it completely.
Regards.
