Brief Answer:
Allergic rhinitis
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the query
I am sorry for the short delay in my reply, I was on call at my hospital
If you have no fever or cough and it has not subsided in 8 days then it is most likely to be allergic rhinitis.
Here are my suggestions to you
1. Steam inhlalations twice a day will help you get rid of the symptoms
2. Avoid being around dusty environments
3. Tab Levocertizine 10 mg is the ideal drug, you can take one every night for a week
4. For loose stools advice tab sporolac three times daily for 5 days, it is probiotic agent with will replace the bad bacteria in the intestine with good bacteria. You can also eat plenty of plain yoghurt twice daily
5. Avoid milk, caffeine and alcohol until you are better. Also stop smoking for a while till the flu symptoms subside
However inspite of these measures if the symptoms continue then I strongle advice you to meet your GP for a local exam and investigations
I hope I was of help, if you have any further queries please get back to me
I wish you good health and a speedy recovery
Regards
