What Causes Heavy Heart Beats?
Question: Hello doctor, I am having very heavy heart beats. What could be the reason? I have attached my blood reports.
Brief Answer:
2D echocardiography
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Heavy heart beats can be due to eating rich spicy foods, drinking excessive amounts of caffeine or alcohol, smoking, using recreational drugs, anxiety and heart problem.
Your blood reports are normal.
I will advise you to do 2D echocardiography with colour doppler test to determine the size of your heart, to evaluate how well your heart is functioning or pumping and to assess the structure and function of the valves within the heart.

Brief Answer:
Haemoglobin and ECG normal.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Normal heamoglobin level for women is 12.0 to 15.5 grams per dl and in your case it is 12.5 g/dl and you are not anemic.
Your ECG report is normal.
The pumping action and valves of your heart needs to be evaluated and echocardiography is advised.
