Seems like your hormones or uterus
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for writing to Health Care magic, I am Dr , Muhammad Ahmad , I have read your question closely, I understand your concern and will be helping you with your health related problem.
You seem to be having some genuine issue specially if you had normal periods throughout your life. It might be a uterine hypertrophy, fibroid, polyp or a hormonal problem.
I would suggest you to meet your Gynae Obs as soon as possible to determine the cause. You doctor might run some tests on you and might scope your uterus this will tell her the source of bleed. But since as you said this is cyclic and regularly happens twice a month I would say it has something to do with your uterus and hormones and it is easy to control.
Such problems can be controlled well with oral contraceptive pills but I would suggest you to get a complete work up done for diagnosis and then start any medication after discussing with your doctor. Don't be anxious it seems to me a minor things but it needs to be checked.
Till them do drink loads of fluids and take iron folate supplements so that you don't get anemic.
Regards.
Dr.Muhammad Ahmad.
I hope this answered your question, If you have more queries I am happy to answer you.
Regards.
Dr.Muhammad Ahmad

The cause needs to be found out.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for writing back,
It is really important to visit your Gyn&Ob as soon as possible there might be a number of reasons for this and i believe you need a uterus exam or some radiography like ultrasound or CT scan if needed to find out the reason of this happening.
If you have been in regular periods throughout your life it does mean that something did happen which has caused a change in your menstruation habit the cause needs to be found out.For that you should visit your doctor.
I wish you the very best of health.
Regards.
Dr.Ahmad
