Question: My husband is peeing blood and blood keeps dripping out of the head of the penis. This just started tonight.
No sexual activity took place.

Thanks fr query .Blood in urine (Hematuria) in elderly man could be due one of the following three reasons
1) Cancer of the bladder or kidney
2) Enlarged prostate
3) Severe infection

Consult qualified Urologist for clinical and digital rectal examination and get following basic tests done to confirm the diagnosis.
1) Urine routine and culture.
2) Ultrasound scanning of abdomen and pelvis
3) Serum PSA.
4) Endoscopic examination of bladder (Cystoscopy)
5) C T Scan of kidney ,ureter and bladder .

Further treatment will depend upon result of these tests and final diagnosis.
