Question: I recently came out on my arm with a few (looks like broken blood vessels.) red lil dots. I am 55 and have psoriatic arthritis and osteo. I have had 2 knee replacements and have had back surgery L345SI joint. Now have rods and screws in spine. I need more surgeries. I have taken mobic for about 20 years and just started taking Lyrica. I also take Lotrel, zoloft, estradol, metoprolol tartrate, hydrochlorothiazide. I have high blood pressure also. I recently came back from Maui and had a sunburn and I noticed it got worse. Someone said maybe I should not have gone out in sun taking some of these meds. I notice my skin on my arms is thinning as I get older. I also take a asprin a day .I have carprotunel and pinched nerves in my elbows from disc C2345 that are very bad in my neck. ( need surgery on that to) I noticed I have lost muscle in my arms the last 2 years. I think its because I have a hard time with my elbows hurting from pinched nerves. I also need a right shoulder replacement. They are checking me for RA and Lupus. The small rash is just on my left arm. Kinda like a brush burn. It doesn't hurt.Anything I can do to help it go away. I did not take my asprin today. Thanks

Brief Answer:
It looks like thrombocytopenia.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I understand your question as well the concern.

As you have lots of health problems including high blood pressure and osteo & psoriatic arthritis and are having red little dots under skin (petachial hemorrhage), it is suggestive of low platelet count (thrombocytopenia).

I would advise you to undergo platelet count and consult a near by physician for further treatment. Stop taking aspirin till the platelet count report comes.

Hope I have answered your queries. If any doubt you are always welcome.

Wish you good health.

Kind regards.
