Question: What kind of doctor should My wife see for high Co2 levels in her blood? The hospitalist said that the test showed a level of 60 %+

No, she is not obese, 150 to 160lbs and she is 5'-4". No fat in her neck area. She does have some high blood pressure which is controlled with her BP meds. She had renial cancer and had 1/3 of her left kidney removed about 6 years ago. Her hemoglobin runs low, between 8 & 9. In a scan of her lungs they noted a spot. I am thinking that her pulmunoligist should check that out although no one said anything about it.
