What Causes High Fever Along With Chills?
Question: Is anyone have high fever n feeling cool .. than need to cover body n switch off the fan/Ac??

Hi doc... my query is regarding normal fever of anybody... what needs to do to reduce body temperature.. somebody says in high fever switch of the fan n cover your body for sweating somebody says less cover to reduce temperature...

Besides the medicine (antipyretic drug) the best method to reduce temperature is tipid sponging - wiping entire body with XXXXXXX warm water. Use of fan and the need to cover body depends on personal comfort. However it is advisable to use thin sheet of blanket and not thick one if you are feeling chill.
Drink plenty of fluid is also advisable.

I went through the lone physician report where evaluation test indicate typhoid fever. Platelet count as well as blood pressure value are low. This is common with typhoid fever.
Treatment with antibiotic is appropriate in such case. Antibiotic therapy should continue for couple of weeks.
Further platelet count should be repeated and monitored again every two days until recovery.
