Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to Healthcaremagic
Greetings of the day
Dear Ms XXXXXXX
In the absence of other symptoms it is likely to be due to Non specific viral infection. If the following criteria are fulfilled it is more likely to be non specific viral infection
1. Absence of rash over body
2. No respiratory symptoms like cough and cold
3. Absence of any urinary symptoms like excessive crying while passing Urine
I would suggest you to consult continue giving Crocin foe fever. Use of antibiotic like Azithromycin is generally not recommended in viral infection. If he still presently has respiratory symptoms like cough and cold, I would suggest you the following
1. Warm saline gargling : To a glass of lukewarm water add 2 spoons of common table salt. Make child gargle the throat with it thrice a day.
2. Decoction : 1 cup of milk + 1 spoon of turmeric + 20 Tulsi leaves +2 spoon sugar + 3 black pepper. Bring the mixture to boil. Filter it and feed child warm thrice a day
3. Continue giving antibiotic as you have already started
Wishing your son speedy recovery
Do get back to me if you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.

Dear Ms XXXXXXX
You are following the right procedure. I would also suggest you to keep a separate dress for yourself when you enter young baby room.
Viral infection usually last 1 week and it is usually self limiting and will subside. Only symptomatic treatment is required. For upset stomach also add Junior Lanzol tablet once a day.

1.Ciprofloxacin eye drops 1 drop in each eye 4 times a day for 2 days
2.Vitamin C supplement will help with swollen gums
3. Risnsing of mouth with Chlorhexidine mouth wash mixed with equal quantity of lukewarm water thrice a day will help relieve swollen gums
