What Causes High Fever, Chills, Swelling In Gums And Discomfort In Throat?
Question: Hi
I have high fever from 2days (103) and chills. When I visited doctor he diagnosed it as normal flu.I have swollen gums and a little discomfort in the throat.I am passing stools also loosely and I feel I have diahrriea.
I have been using the medicines from 2 days without any improvement.
Another thing to mention that I had delivered a baby through c section 6 weeks back.
Can u please suggest me what is wrong with my health

Your symptoms fit into usual seasonal flu. There is no need to worry, the symptoms may be tough to bear but they do subside on medication after 2-3 days.
Such infections are common in post childbirth, as there occur few changes in the immunity.
Continue the medication, you must be placed on antibiotics. If not please do discuss about the same with the doctor you visit tomorrow.
I would like to know what medication you are put on, I shall confirm whether they are of help.
