What Causes High Fever, Extreme Chills, Body Aches And Indigestion?

Question: Hello, last night I had a high fever with extreme chills, body aches, and restfulness. I also had difficulty sleeping and had indigestion. These symptoms were not present when I woke up, but at the end of the day I was shaking and could not get warm. I took a hot shower to try to warm up and sent straight to bed at 6pm and stayed till 7am this morning. I am very run down and weak this morning. Is this normal and if so what do you recommend I do to try to ease these symptoms

I do not believe there was anything contaminated, the only things I can think of is that I picked up something from the gym? There was a lot of rain and coldness this past weekend. There was some burning in my urine last night come to think of it. Do you think this is something I should go to the doctor for?
Hello,
I also remember that I had diarrhea this morning also.

Hi,
It seems like infection. possibly viral . A consultation will help you in identifying the problem. If a bacterial source is identified, Antibiotics will enhance recovery and reduce complications. So i would recommend you to consult your GP. You may try acetaminophen tablets 2-3 per day for fever meanwhile. All the best.
