Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX!
Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!
Regarding your concern, I would like to explain that facing your very young age, your maximal normal theoretical heart rate response during maximal aerobic exertion may reach up to around 200 bpm.
So, you don't have to worry about that heart rate during physical exertion, as it is a normal physiological heart condition.
Nevertheless, if your palpitation feeling is associated with other complains like dizziness, extreme fatigue, nausea, etc. then, I would recommend you to calm down for a while with your extreme physical training program.
You are very young for that kind of prolonged (1 hour a day) strenuous exertion, as it may lead you to excessive exhaustion, profound body fluid loss through diaphoresis (increased sweating) and respiration and may lead you to blood electrolytes imbalances and consequently dangerous cardiac arrhythmias.
I recommend you before undertaking similar fitness programs, to perform a medical check up: a careful physical exam, a resting ECG, chest X ray study, and several blood tests, like complete blood count (to exclude a possible anemia), fasting glucose, thyroid hormone levels, blood electrolytes, liver and renal function tests, etc.
If suspicions about possible arrhythmia are raised, an ambulatory ECG monitoring test (Holter) is necessary to clarify this issue.
At the end, I would advise you to continue your physical training under close supervision of a well certified expert.
Hope to have been helpful to you!
Feel free to ask me whenever you need! Greetings! Dr. Iliri

I need a way to lower my heart rate whilst undergoing physical activity
You should proceed with that medical check up!
Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX
I recommend you to follow my advice about that medical check up. Only after that, we could be sure that everything is OK with your body.
If everything results normal (and I hope so), the next step is to follow only supervised physical training. Even excessive straining may be responsible for such a clinical scenario you experience.
Regards,
Dr. Iliri

A cardiac stress test is recommended.
Detailed Answer:
Hi again, dear XXXX!
Coming to this point, I would advise you check your body reaction through an exercise cardiac stress tests (besides the other tests I mentioned above).
If you have performed all those tests I mentioned in the previous answers (especially Holter monitoring), then I recommend to proceed with cardiac stress test.
I recommend discussing with your attending doctor about the above mentioned issues.
At the end, if everything results normal, then the only advice is to avoid playing that stressful sport for you.
Wish you good health!
Dr. Iliri
