What Causes High Uric Acid Levels And Burning Sensation Of Feet And Palms?

Question: I have problem of stomach as well as inflammation of anus, penis, feet and palms for the last 2 years. Sometimes, I feel my whole body is burning. Please let me advise the lab tests to diagnosis it. XXXXXX YYYY@YYYY

uric acid levels are almost above 5 points. I have never any sexual encounter outside my marriage. the burning sensation of feet, palms, penis and anus almost is continuous. I have no fever, redness. But I have whole body inflammation in early morning and in evening. As regards stomach I have a feeling as it is time to go for stool the whole day and anus is feeling heaviness as something is coming out. have some gas and acidity feelings without any heartburn.

I would treat your uric acid levels to normal by adjusting the dose of the drug that you have been taking currently. Since the symptoms are non-specific I were investigate by doing blood tests like complete blood count and renal function test (including creatine clearance) to rule out secondary causes of increased uric acid levels. I were to advice Tablet Rabeprazole 20 mg available overthecounter half an hour before food daily morning of 2-4 weeks for acidity.Suggest to avoid spicy foods and regularise your food habits. may it be case of urinary retract system as I have burn feeling at the time of urination and slight pain in lower abdominal system. please let me know the tests which will be helpful to know whether it is infection of intestines, urenthera or prostrate ?

I were to treat your uric acid levels to normal levels and then observe for a while if you have the same symptoms. If the symptoms persist then- Recommend a colonoscopy to rule out Inflammatory bowel disease. Basic tests like Complete Blood Count & urine analysis which give a clue of infection. If the findings are positive I were to do an ultrasound abdomen and pelvis or KUB radiography which gives a better clarity of the underlying condition and localize the infection. Hope this helps.
