What Causes Hives When Diagnosed With A Positive Urine Test Report?
Question: I have recently been have a pretty severe allergic reaction with hives over parts of my body. At the same time my doctor ordered blood work whcih came back good and she ordered an urine specimen that came back teting positive for a trace of blood, mucous and bacteria. Since then I have taken an an Azo strip test at home and the test seemed last night to come back negative. However a repeat test seems to test positive for leukocytes this morning. How serious could this be. It seemed to be engative this morning for anything else.

You seem to be suffering from Urinary tract infection (UTI) which has resulted in Acute Urticaria causing hives and issues.
In such scenario I would recommend to get a Urine culture done in order to identify the organism and susceptible antibiotics.
Once you have given your Urine sample you may be started on antibiotics along.
For hives and rashes , anti allergic like Levocetrizine helps greatly.
