Posted on Thu, 16 Apr 2015
Question: I got a lot of sweating in past 5-6 months. Doctor said that its a hyperhidrosis but I think that maybe it is stress ( i am under a lot of stress) and my pilonidal cist aurgery hat I had and the scar is still healing. I never sweat this much on my life and O really didnt used to it. I feel hirrible.
I am taking hypercare underamr medixation but it works somethimes sometimes I sweat even with that.
Is it possible thatxwhen my scar is healed that sweatig will stop? I head that sweating can be related to some other issue in the body. I eat fruits, vegetables, i stopped eating meat ( only eat fish and chicken slmetimes) i stopped woth coffee, cigarettes.... I really dont knkw what else to do. I litteraly sweat even now while im sitting in a cool room. But only one arm pit.

Brief Answer:
Related to stress

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the query.
Anxiety and stress is one of the biggest cause for excessive sweating.
Probably this will stop when you are relieved of stress.
Try to do relaxing exercises.
You can use aluminum hexachloride solution.
This helps in decreasing sweating.
Let me know if you have any other doubts.
Thank you

Thank you doctor. So actually stress and anxiety ( as I thought) is probably causing this sweat. Hyperhidrosis is when someone sweats a lot, and that is not my case, its just an arm pit on my right side. How should I apply aluminium solution?
And also you think that sweat has nothing to so with my unhealed sca from the surgery?
Thank you.

Do relaxing excersie

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the follow up.
Probably the stress due to surgery is leading to excessive sweating.
It's not a disease.
Just relax. Do some relaxing exercise you will feel relieved.
Aluminium hydroxide is a lotion it can be easily applied. It is mostly not due to a scar tissue.
Let me know if you have any other doubts.
Thank you.
