What Causes Hyperpigmentation Of The Skin After Stevens-johnson Syndrome?
Post inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome
I appreciate your concern
Post inflammatory hyperpigmentation of the skin after XXXXXXX XXXXXXX is a common phenomenon and can also occur in other inflammatory conditions of the skin. Usually the dark spots fade with the passage of time. This can be facilitated by chemical peels , skin bleaching and using SPF 30 sunblock in addition to zinc oxide. Waiting and observing for the dark spots is also one approach especially if the lesions are of recent onset and have evolved towards rapid healing. Sunblock alone would be sufficient in that case, in consultation with a dermatologist.
Wishing you best of health
Thanks
